Your eyes can capture the beauty of lights, shadows, color and distance that no ordinary camera can compare. It is an inspiration to be out in field and be delighted with what is before you and all of God’s creations. One day when focused on my painting so intently, I was surprised to hear a “snort” behind me only to find several cows observing my activity. Another time, preparing to paint, friendly horses ran down to greet me and nudged me to the point that I had to climb up on my vehicle only to find one of them took a bite out of the upholstery.
